All profits of the 2016 Bal de la Riviera edition have been donated to the Lalla Salma Foundation, Cancer prevention and treatment. Amount raised €800.000

 

Since its creation in 2005, the Lalla Salma Foundation against cancer works hand in hand with all its partners, to make of the fight against cancer a public health priority in Morocco and the region. The Foundation Lalla Salma aims at setting up a national plan dedicated to fight cancer which will apply the best clinical practices, by implementing a strategy using an innovative and participative approach adapted to the specificities of the country.

In June 2006, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to establish his Foundation to address our planet's alarming environmental situation. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale. The Foundation supports initiatives of public and private organizations, in the fields of research and studies, technological innovation and socially-aware practices. The Foundation supports projects in three main geographical zones and focuses its efforts focus on three main areas.

All profits of the 2014 Bal de la Riviera edition have been donated to the Portuguese Red Cross. Amount raised €35.000

The Portuguese Red Cross aims to help vulnerable people, whoever they are and wherever they are, in order to protect their lives, health and dignity. Its activities and humanitarian services ranging from home care to the elderly to First Aid Proximity, through Health Care, youth awareness of various problems, monitoring of vulnerable groups and training, among others. This institution also aims at preparing the community to respond to emergency situations of natural or human origin. And when the emergency ends, provide necessary support for the recovery and restoration of the lives of those affected. Internationally, the Portuguese Red Cross is involved in various development and emergency programs, directly or as part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
